Drawing a diagram, sharing it by link, and opening a link you were sent collect no personal data at all: the project lives in the link’s address or in the browser, and Technipatch keeps no copy of it.

Saving a project to the server requires an account, created for free by verifying an email address with a code sent to it, and stores the project along with each of its revisions. No name or password is asked. A subscription, optional, is then taken out at Stripe: Technipatch neither receives nor keeps a card number, only a Stripe customer identifier and the subscription state. The company name and VAT number, if entered, are entered at Stripe, for the invoice.

Technipatch also keeps an editable copy of the current project in the browser’s local storage, so nothing is lost between visits. This copy never leaves the device.

No tracking cookies, no third-party tracker: Technipatch shares no data with an advertising third party. The only measurement is an anonymous first-use counter — device placed, cable pulled, refusal seen, list read, PDF exported, link copied, journey done, and the chosen start — sent once per browser and per step, with no identifier, cookie or project content; the server keeps only one total per day and per step, and writes no IP address in that table.

The field viewer keeps, in the browser’s own storage (IndexedDB) and not on a server, a copy of diagrams already opened on that device, so it stays readable without a network. This copy is cleared entirely, plan by plan or all at once, from “Diagrams kept on this device” in the viewer.

Retention period

A saved project and its revisions are kept as long as the account exists: deleting the account, from “Data and security”, erases them with it. After a subscription ends, the account becomes a free account again and keeps all its projects, readable and exportable; only the most recently edited one stays editable without resubscribing. The others are deleted no earlier than thirty days after the subscription ends, and never less than seven days after the email that warns of it (terms, article 5). A device sign-in expires after one hundred and eighty days without use. The local copy in the browser stays until the device or the browser clears it. For the free trial, the card fingerprint computed by Stripe (never the card number) is kept for three years after its first use, even if the account is deleted, so that one card cannot open several trials.

Rights of access and deletion

A saved project is deleted from “My projects,” in the editor. For any other request for access, correction, objection or deletion, write to julien@awakeprod.fr; the request will be handled within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Subprocessors

Four providers are involved. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) serves the site and runs the application. Supabase, Inc. hosts the database, in Ireland (eu-west-1 region, European Union): that is where accounts, projects and their revisions live. Resend, Inc. (United States) sends the sign-in and reminder emails. Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) collects subscriptions, holds payment methods and issues invoices. No other subprocessor is involved.

Intellectual property

The code of Technipatch, its interface, its device library and the documents it generates are protected and remain the property of the publisher; they are neither open source nor reusable without written agreement. The diagrams you draw, on the other hand, are yours: Technipatch claims no rights over them and you can export them at any time as PDF, SVG, PNG and CSV.
