Export and print formats
Six formats, from pocket-sized A5 to wall-sized A0, all drawn from the same model. What changes from one format to the next is never the layout: it is the scale, and how much detail the sheet can still hold.
Six sheets, one reference
The dimensions come from ISO 216, landscape — A3 (420 × 297 mm) is the reference, at a scale of 1. The other five formats grow or shrink from it, in the same ratio as their diagonals: an A0 is not an A3 zoomed by eye, it is the same drawing recomputed to the line.
What grows with the sheet, and what caps out
The title block and the text grow with the format, to stay readable at A0 without crushing an A5. But the scale is capped between 0.7 and 1.6: below that, the smallest port label would drop under 1.7 mm, unreadable printed; above it, an A0 title block would keep growing for no gain. A1 and A0 therefore cap at the same scale, with the same title block.
"Fitting" and "reading" are two different questions
A diagram fits a sheet when its blocks did not have to overlap to land on it. It reads when, on top of that, its sockets and cables stay far enough apart to stay crisp — a dense diagram can fit with no overlap at all and still be unreadable, cables touching and labels clipped. Technipatch then recomposes the sheet in compact blocks, without socket names or a free-way count, rather than leave it unreadable without saying so.
The same sheet, six formats
Here is what Technipatch actually renders on the sample audio project — twenty devices, thirty-one cables — composed at all six formats. These numbers were not written for this page: it is the same computation as the Export menu.

The format does not change the document
SVG and PDF come out of the same drawing model, measured with the same function so both cut text at the same point — the PDF is never a conversion of the preview. And when a sheet does not fit, Technipatch offers a real fix: the same sheet turned, otherwise A1, otherwise A0. On the sample project, A5 stays compressed even turned portrait — the fix Technipatch computes is A1, not a guess.
